‘Remembering the Present’

Performance Workshop in Westminster – Register Now!

How many different ways are there to filter the world around us?
To know the present? To recollect the past? Well, as many as we are in the room...
You’re invited to put your thoughts and memories on the table, create your own journey
in the past through dance, movement or speech and watch other people’s journeys too.
What will your path look like at the end? You’re about to find out!

Join this workshop to explore what you remember from… the present, using odd new paths, dance and performance. Working together with choreographer Efrosini Protopapa and the rest of the group, you’ll devise a short piece that will be performed before a live audience at Ekon Festival 2010, in mid-November. It could be your window to performing at Ekon Festival in November… so, what do you think?

Using a combination of movement and action with spoken text, stage action and sound, the group have developed educational projects and participatory activities throughout the UK and Europe.
